For the most popular riverfishing for trout in the spring, it is common to fish with single handed fly fishing and spin fishing with light equipment. Best trout fishing is in the spring when melting water starts to subside. Fishing during the fall can also be good as long as the rivers are not frozen. Many fly fishermen choose to fish with hårvingeflugor in classic patterns. These often work well in smaller hook sizes. When the trout are sluggish, many use quite small sizes. Spin fisherman often choose small floating wobblers, copper colored spoons or spinners. The so-called lottery spinner has many followers.
